Tamil tokenizers, Qwen fine-tunes for vuln detection, data pipelines, and browser AI apps. - How to contact him? rjayadithya11@gmail.com or https://www.linkedin.com/in/jayadithya-r/ ## Contact - Email: rjayadithya11@gmail.com - GitHub: https://github.com/barryallen16 - LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jayadithya-r/ - Resume (PDF): https://jayadithya.is-a.dev/resume/Jayadithya_R_Master_Resume.pdf ## Projects - tamil-tokenizer: BPE tokenizer for Tamil written in Rust. It runs 11-16x faster than SentencePiece, has a 32K vocab on Hugging Face, and 23 tests. https://github.com/barryallen16/tamil-tokenizer - VulnChecker-Java: LoRA fine-tune of Qwen2.5-Coder for Java vulnerability detection. The 7B model scored 80.39% on a 102-case eval, above the 14B base. https://github.com/barryallen16/VulnChecker-Java - sivabharani-comments: pipeline over 2,755 Tamil videos. It ran 1,185,665 transcript chunks through local Gemma 4-bit inference and published the dataset on Hugging Face. https://github.com/barryallen16/sivabharani-comments - kaggle-automation: FastAPI control plane that pools Kaggle accounts, shards GPU jobs across them, and watches 12-hour sessions with Telegram alerts. https://github.com/barryallen16/kaggle-automation - fitcheck-website: outfit recommender distilled down to a 2B student that runs client-side. Qwen3-VL-8B labeled 106K IndoFashion images into 538K caption-and-QA pairs for perception tuning; gpt-oss-120b then wrote 2,923 outfit recommendations with color and silhouette rationales for reasoning tuning. The student keeps 91.6% of the teacher's judged recommendation quality, generates 39% more tokens per second, and uses 3.14x less VRAM. First author, IEEE TQCEBT 2026. Code: https://github.com/barryallen16/fitcheck-website · Model and datasets: https://huggingface.co/collections/barryallen16/fitcheck - ats-resume-creation-skill: agent skill that writes ATS-friendly resumes as docx and PDF, with an application tracker. The resume on this site came out of it. https://github.com/barryallen16/ats-resume-creation-skill - moviemod-scraper: distributed Selenium scraper with domain rotation, multiprocess workers, MySQL dedup, and Telegram alerts. https://github.com/barryallen16/moviemod-scraper - Memory: bookmarklet that fuzzy-matches Google Forms fields and autofills them. https://barryallen16.github.io/Memory/ - unshortenBuddy: Telegram bot that resolves ad-walled short links with headless Chrome and caches results in Postgres. https://github.com/barryallen16/unshortenBuddy ## Experience - AI Research Intern, Blubridge Technologies, Chennai, 07/2025 - 10/2025. Built operator-fusion passes in MLIR that cut kernel launch overhead around 20%. Lowered dialect ops to LLVM IR with shape inference for dynamic tensors. Added 40+ lit tests wired into CI. ## Publications - First author, IEEE TQCEBT 2026: "FitCheck: A Multi-Modular AI Framework for Cross-Cultural Fashion Recommendation via Black-Box Data Distillation". Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, Chennai. DOI 10.1109/TQCEBT67648.2026.11681836. Paper PDF: https://jayadithya.is-a.dev/fitcheck-journal-paper.pdf ## Education - B.Tech, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, Chennai, 2026. GPA 8.0/10. ## Projects in brief Each project below is described by the problem it solves, the tradeoff made, and how it was built. - tamil-tokenizer — Problem: general-purpose subword vocabularies shatter Tamil into too many pieces, so Tamil corpora cost more tokens and train slower than English ones. Tradeoff: hand-writing BPE in Rust instead of building on SentencePiece or Hugging Face tokenizers. Solution: 247 Tamil character clusters as base tokens, Aho-Corasick encoding, rayon-parallel BPE training. 11-16x faster than SentencePiece, 32K vocab, 23 tests. - VulnChecker-Java — Problem: static analyzers miss SQL injection, XSS, and insecure deserialization in Java. Tradeoff: budget on dedup rather than parameters; the 7B beat the 14B (80.39% vs 78.43% on 102 cases). Solution: seven pipeline stages to conversation-formatted SFT, SHA-256 dedup, LoRA fine-tune, fixed 102-case eval harness. - sivabharani-comments — Problem: a Tamil YouTuber answers subscriber questions across 2,000+ videos and nobody could find the one answering theirs. Tradeoff: an LLM pass over all 1.18M transcript chunks instead of plain search. Solution: 2,755 videos scraped, chunks filtered through local Gemma 4-bit to keep name mentions. Dataset on Hugging Face. - kaggle-automation — Problem: Kaggle sessions expire after 12 hours, killing long training runs. Tradeoff: sharding one job across several accounts, at the cost of coordination and retry handling. Solution: FastAPI control plane, session monitoring, Telegram alerts. - fitcheck-website — Problem: recommenders trained on Western wardrobes fail on Indian ethnic wear, and the models that reason well about outfits are too large to run where a shopper checks them. Tradeoff: black-box distillation from two teachers, Qwen3-VL-8B for perception and gpt-oss-120b for reasoning, into a single Qwen3-VL-2B student. The student keeps 91.6% of the teacher's judged recommendation quality. Solution: 106K labeled images became 538K caption-and-QA pairs, then 2,923 recommendation records carrying color and silhouette rationales. Evaluated on a 1,000-image automated bench and a blind human study of 297 ratings. - ats-resume-creation-skill — Problem: rewriting the same resume per job and hand-building docx/pdf output. Tradeoff: generation over hand-editing, at the cost of a consistent voice across applications. Solution: agent skill reads a job description, writes tailored content, exports docx and pdf, tracks applications. - moviemod-scraper — Problem: a site that rotates domains and expires download links within hours. Tradeoff: Selenium plus a MySQL mirror over plain HTTP. Solution: live-domain resolution, multiprocess workers, MySQL dedup, Telegram alerts. - Memory — Problem: filling the same Google Forms repeatedly by hand. Tradeoff: a bookmarklet over a browser extension, which breaks when Google changes form internals. Solution: fuzzy label matching plus writes through React's value setter. - unshortenBuddy — Problem: short links hide destinations behind ad walls and timers. Tradeoff: headless Chrome per link instead of a plain HTTP request. Solution: Telegram bot walks the redirect chain, caches results in Postgres, admin-gated access.
